Refund PolicyMemoHoney Refund Policy: The Procedure, In The Order It Happens
Claims are opened by telephone on +1 (302) 200-3480 with an order ID, inside sixty days of purchase.
Returns go to 230 Park Avenue, Floor 10, New York, NY 10169, USA. Return postage is the buyer's cost. Refunds take three to five business days to process once credited, and a further five to ten days to reach a card.
The procedure step by step, with the addresses, the timings and the two mistakes that delay a claim most often.
The MemoHoney refund procedure
Six steps, in the order they happen, and none of them can be done by email to this website.
- Telephone +1 (302) 200-3480 with the order ID from the order email. That desk can see the order; the website mailbox cannot.
- Ask for the return instructions and note the date of the call and any reference you are given.
- Put a slip in the parcel with your full name, the email the order was placed under, and the order ID.
- Post the parcel to 230 Park Avenue, Floor 10, New York, NY 10169, USA, tracked, at your own cost.
- Keep the tracking receipt until the refund has appeared on the card.
- If nothing has arrived three weeks after delivery of the return, telephone again with the original reference rather than opening a new claim.
What a MemoHoney return parcel has to contain
Five things, and the first three fit on one slip of paper.
| In the parcel | Why |
|---|---|
| Your full name | Names on cards, emails and parcels do not always match, and a mismatch is the commonest source of delay |
| The email address the order was placed under | It is how the order is found |
| The order ID | The single most useful line on the slip |
| The bottles | Opened or sealed. A money-back window on a supplement that only covered sealed bottles would be no window at all |
| Tracked postage | Not required, and worth it anyway. An untracked parcel that goes missing is the buyer's loss |
Return address: 230 Park Avenue, Floor 10, New York, NY 10169, USA. This is a different address from the office, and a parcel sent to the office will not be processed as a return.
The two mistakes that delay a MemoHoney claim
Two, and between them they account for most of the delays this order line sees.
Emailing the website address instead of telephoning
contact@Memohonaey.com reaches an editor. It cannot see an order, cannot open a claim and cannot pause the window while somebody waits for a reply. Refunds run through +1 (302) 200-3480 and contact@customercs.com, which is why the two addresses are printed separately on every page of this website.
Sending the parcel to the office address
The office is 810 Seventh Avenue, Floor 9, New York, NY 10019, USA and returns are 230 Park Avenue, Floor 10, New York, NY 10169, USA. They are different buildings for different purposes, and a return sent to the first has to be forwarded before anything can happen to it.
What the MemoHoney refund window does not pause for
Three things that do not stop the clock, and the one thing that fixes all of them.
The sixty days run from purchase and they keep running. They do not pause while a parcel is in transit, while a bottle sits unopened, while an email to the wrong mailbox waits for an answer, or while somebody is away. That is not severity for its own sake; a window that paused for any of those would not be a window at all.
What follows from it is a single practical instruction, and it is the same one this website gives in four places because it is the only one that matters: open the bottle the week it arrives and put the date in a calendar. Sixty days is generous by the standards of this category, and it is only generous to somebody who starts counting.
One exception is worth stating because the order line gets asked. A claim opened by telephone inside the window is inside the window even if the parcel is posted a few days later, which is exactly why step two of the procedure above is to write down the date of the call.
MemoHoney refunds, cancellations and changes to an order
Five situations, one telephone number, and a strong preference for the same day.
| Situation | What to do |
|---|---|
| The order has not shipped and you want to cancel | Telephone +1 (302) 200-3480 immediately. Once a parcel is with a courier it becomes a return rather than a cancellation |
| The address on the order is wrong | Telephone the same day. An address change before dispatch is simple and after dispatch is not |
| The wrong rung was ordered | Telephone before dispatch. After that it is a return and a fresh order |
| A bottle arrived damaged or unsealed | Do not open it. Telephone the same day with the order ID and photographs if you can take them |
| You want a refund and you are inside the window | Follow the six steps at the top of this page |
Every row starts with the telephone because every row needs somebody who can see the order, and that is not this website.
What happens to a MemoHoney return after it is delivered
Four stages, and only one of them is in the seller's hands.
The parcel is received and matched to an order, which is what the slip inside it is for. A return with no name, no email and no order ID on it sits in a pile until somebody works out whose it is, and that is the stage where a fortnight quietly disappears.
Once matched, the refund is credited by the seller. Their own stated timing for that stage is three to five business days, and it is the one stage in the whole process that is theirs to control. After that the money moves to a card issuer, and a card issuer takes a further five to ten days on its own schedule regardless of what anybody wants.
Refunds go back to the card the order was paid with. That is standard practice across this whole business rather than a rule invented here, and it means a card that has since been cancelled or replaced is worth mentioning on the original telephone call rather than discovering at the end.
You will not usually get a notification when the credit is issued. The first sign is the line on the statement, which is why the tracking receipt is worth keeping until that line appears.
Three MemoHoney refund cases, worked through
The same two numbers, applied to three ordinary sets of dates.
Bought on day 1, opened on day 3, no effect by day 40
Comfortably inside everything. Thirty days of use is satisfied, the window has twenty days left, and the claim is a telephone call. This is what the calendar is designed for and it is the case that causes no trouble at all.
Bought on day 1, the parcel sat unopened until day 20
Tighter than it looks. Thirty days of use takes you to day 50 and the window closes at day 60, which leaves ten days to decide and post. It works, and it is the reason this website repeats the same instruction about opening the bottle the week it lands.
Bought on day 1, started on day 35
The case that does not work. Thirty days of use finishes after the window has closed, and nothing on this counter can reopen it. Anybody in that position is better off telephoning before day 60 to ask rather than after it, because a claim opened inside the window is a different conversation from one opened outside it.
